IIRRT CPD Endorsement

The Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRRT) is committed to providing Radiographers and Radiation Therapists throughout Ireland with quality, evidence-based, relevant continuous professional development opportunities. The CPD events or short courses and webinars that the IIRRT endorses reflect this principle. Continuous professional development opportunities maybe online or in person.

Why apply for CPD endorsement from the IIRRT:

• Recognition of your short course/event as being of high quality and evidence-based.
• Recognition of experience and competency of course providers/trainers.
• Advertisement of course/event to IIRRT members and non-members through the website, social media, and relevant publications.
• Quality assurance for IIRRT members and non-members seeking continuous professional development opportunities.
• Use of designated IIRRT CPD endorsed logo recognising event/course as endorsed by the professional body on advertising material or certificates.

Please send completed IIRRT CPD Endorsement application form form with a copy of the proposed programme for the CPD Event to iirrtcpdofficer@gmail.com.

Endorsement Terms & Conditions:

• All documents submitted must be soft copies. No handwritten documents will be accepted.
• Documents are to be submitted a minimum of 4 weeks before the event.
• Applications less than 4 weeks before the CPD event will not be accepted.
• Retrospective IIRRT endorsement is not possible.

Event Promotion:

• All advertising material must include the ‘IIRRT CPD-endorsed’ logo and endorsement must be acknowledged during the CPD event.
• The CPD-endorsed logo may only be used for the endorsed CPD Event and remains the property of the IIRRT.
• IIRRT CPD Endorsed events will be promoted via the IIRRT social media accounts and via the IIRRT website and mailing lists.
